In the USA only, Blue Sky 502a is sold as a second generation replacement for R407c, R404a and MO99. Outside the US, Blue Sky 502a is sold as an 502a replacement. Every ounce of Blue Sky Replacement refrigerant is equivalent to 2.5 ounces of 502a.

Compatibility - Blue Sky refrigerants are compatible with a majority of refrigeration materials, metal components, seals, gaskets, hoses, o-rings and compressors. Our refrigerants are also compatible with mineral and synthetic (Ester and PAG) lubricants.

Other companies add Mercaptin for odor and its made from sulfur , when sulfur is introduced to moisture it becomes an acid.
